ACTIVITY 1
1st Session
Achievement: To get familiar with different elements regarding the making of a video in order to make a storyboard.

1. You are going to click on the following links Ricardo's Group - Leo's group so as to add the names of the members of your groups and write in the first column your ideas and perceptions about what a storyboard is. Then, you are going to watch the video Storyboard, take notes and try to redefine the word "storyboard" using your own words. You must use the second column of the document for that purpose (TO BE GRADED).

WEEK (March 24th-27th)
ACTIVITY 1
1st Session
Achievement: To fully understand a text so as to answer multiple choice questions and understand vocabulary in context.

1. You are going to click on the following links LE0'S GROUP -  RICARDO´S GROUP so as to work on a KWL chart (see a sample below). In the first column, you must write what you know about Singapore. In the second column, you must write 5 questions related to what you would like to know about Singapore. Finally, you will watch the following Video and, after watching it, you will fill the last column with information (at least 8 facts) that you have learnt from the video. (TO BE GRADED)

NOTE: IN THE CHART, THERE WILL BE A SPACE FOR EACH STUDENT. SO, PLEASE RESPECT THE SPACE AND OPINIONS OF OTHERS.

Considering the work you developed previously about defining your social campaigns, you will send a VISUAL PRESENTATION shown through PREZI, POWERPOINT or an INFOGRAPHIC that will include important aspects of your project. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE:

We know that the easiest thing to do, it is to create a POWERPOINT presentation but we want to encourage you to use other useful tools such as PREZI or CANVA, this last one is used for creating an infographic.

For this, we add some tutorials for you to watch and decide how it will be the BEST WAY to compile and show the work about your SOCIAL CAMPAIGNS.

This activity will have two grades: one for language use and other for critical thinking.

China vs India race to the top of the world.  
Two session classes

Read and analyze specific information about China and India about important aspects in their social and economic development. For this, check this PPT

Now, watch a video broadcasted by CHANNELNEWS  Asia in which information about China and India is presented through a debate. Pay attention to educational and infrastructure differences and take notes upon information heard.  
Create a graphic organizer chart. This must be created in COGGLE, you access to this site by your GOOGLE account, if you don't have one, please CREATE ONE. Once you have got it, LOG IN and begin your journey through coggle maps.

Once the mind map is created, download it to your computer and send it to your teacher's institutional E-mail.
